Crate hire costs from £79 for a studio up to £249 for a five-bedroom house, on a two-week hire. One flat price per package, with the crates, a dolly, delivery and collection all included. No deposit, and nothing added at the end.

How much does crate hire cost?
From £79 for a studio flat up to £249 for a five-bedroom house, for a two-week hire. That one price covers the crates, a dolly, delivery to your door and collection after your move. There is nothing else to pay and no VAT to add.
Is delivery and collection really free?
Yes, both, anywhere inside our area. There is no mileage charge and no county surcharge, so a hire in Saffron Walden costs exactly what the same hire costs in Sudbury.
What if I need the crates for longer than two weeks?
A four-week hire costs less than two separate two-week hires. If your move slips at the last minute you can extend by the day instead, and the extra is capped so it never costs more than the four-week price would have.
Do you charge a deposit?
No. There is no deposit on any hire, household or commercial. Crates that are lost or damaged beyond normal wear are charged at £15 each, and that is the only extra there is.
How much is crate hire for a business or an office?
Commercial hire is priced per crate per week rather than in packages, from £1.60 per crate per week on larger orders, with a minimum of 20 crates over 2 weeks. Delivery, collection and a dolly are included, and there is no deposit.
Are your prices inclusive of VAT?
We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged and nothing is added at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay.
What else costs money?
Three things, and they are the only three. Everything else on this page is included.
Lost or damaged crates

A timed delivery slot
