Crate hire with Evergreen Crates starts at £79 for a studio and goes up to £249 for a 5-bedroom home, for a standard 2-week hire. Each package is one flat, all-inclusive price covering the crates, a dolly, and free delivery and collection, no per-crate or per-week maths.

For most moves, hiring crates works out similar or cheaper once you add up cardboard boxes, tape, bubble wrap and your time building and recycling them, and you avoid the waste. You also get sturdier boxes and a free dolly thrown in.

Our 2-Bedroom package is £119 for a 2-week hire and includes 40 crates plus a dolly, delivered and collected free.

As a rough guide: a studio needs about 20 crates, a 1-bed 30, a 2-bed 40, a 3-bed 55, a 4-bed 75 and a 5-bed 100. Choose the package matching your home size, if you're between sizes, size up; spare crates are handy.

Not a problem, and it's easily done. You can add extra crates for £3 each when you book, and we deliver them with the rest. Underestimated mid-move? Just get in touch and we'll get more crates out to you, so you'll never be left short.

Pack room by room, heaviest items in the bottom of each crate, and clip the lid shut, no tape needed. Label each crate by room, stack them on the included dolly, and wheel them out. Because the crates are a uniform size, they stack safely in the van.

No problem for delivery, we bring the crates to your current home within our area. For collection, if your new home is a little outside our 30-mile area we add a small out-of-area collection fee at booking, shown before you confirm. If you're moving much further afield, just contact us and we'll arrange a collection quote.

Our standard hire is 2 weeks, with a 4-week option at checkout if you need longer. Moving date slipped? Just get in touch and we'll extend your hire.

As standard we deliver and collect between 9am and 5pm on your chosen day. If you'd prefer a specific time for both, you can add a timed slot at booking for £35.

Yes. Just tell us a safe place when you book, a shed, garage, side gate or somewhere out of sight, and we'll leave the crates there and collect them the same way.

No cleaning required. Just empty them and we'll take care of the rest, we sanitise every crate between hires.
