The short answer: with Evergreen Crates, moving crate hire ranges from £79 for a studio to £249 for a large five bedroom home, for a standard two week hire. Every package is one flat price that includes the crates, a dolly, and free delivery and collection.
What you actually pay
Most UK crate hire companies quote a price per crate, per week, before VAT, which makes it hard to know your real total. We do the opposite. You pick your home size and pay one all in price, with nothing added at the door.
- Studio: £79 for 20 crates and a dolly
- 1-Bedroom: £95 for 30 crates and a dolly
- 2-Bedroom: £119 for 40 crates and a dolly
- 3-Bedroom: £149 for 55 crates and a dolly
- 4-Bedroom: £189 for 75 crates and a dolly
- 5-Bedroom: £249 for 100 crates and a dolly
What is included in the price
Every hire comes with strong reusable crates, a dolly to move them, free labels to write on, and free delivery and collection within our area. There is no charge for tape or packing because the lids simply clip shut.
Is it cheaper than cardboard?
Once you add up cardboard boxes, tape, a tape gun, bubble wrap and your own time building and recycling it all, crate hire usually works out similar or cheaper. You also get stronger boxes and nothing to dispose of afterwards.
How long can you keep them?
The standard hire is two weeks, with a four week option that saves you money compared with two separate hires. If your move slips, just get in touch and we will extend it.
